I happen to also believe that having a friendship with a paedophile doesn’t automatically make someone a paedophile. However, to have the type of relationship that trump and epstein had and to claim complete ignorance of his crimes is absurd. Trump, obviously knew about epstein and maxwells activities and if he didn’t actively participate, he passively accepted it and covered it up for decades.
And as the saying goes if 9 people sit at a table and a paedophile sits down and none of them say anything, there are 10 paedophiles at the table.
As you yourself say, if we’re talking about the systematic trafficking and molestation of children, silence is complicity. There’s a world of difference between a crime that literally doesn’t harm anyone and what epstein was doing.
